“Niina Mantsinen (b. 1986 North Karelia,Finland) is a textile artist who combines conventional textile methods with urban city culture influences. Her hand-tufted rugs break the traditions of textile art and at the same time challenge the viewer to interpret the graffiti in a new way. Mantsinen’s works are made in collaboration with graffiti artists.”
